I don't remember exactly when or where I got this book. Every now and again I will pull it off the shelf and go through the pages looking for ideas. I have found a few that I will be trying to implement in the near future.
1975 Edition of The Up With Wholesome, Down with Store Bought: Book of Recipes and Household Formulas by Yvonne Young Tarr.
This is another book I have had for some time. A make-it-yourself and save money cookbook. If you can purchase it in the store, then you can make it better yourself, quickly, easily, and lots cheaper too.
This is a fun book to have!!
